You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, take on real responsibility early, and contribute alongside a highly capable team. About the Role

We are seeking an early-career engineer (1-2 years out of school) with exposure to additive manufacturing / materials / or advanced manufacturing who wants to work in a high-growth environment to build capability quickly. This is a hands-on role in a diverse project environment. The tasks will not be assigned as a narrow engineering function, and rather system level, collaborative tasks. You will need to support multiple programs or projects simultaneously, and feel comfortable navigating evolving priorities. This can include tasks that range from operating equipment to interfacing with testing suppliers or contributing to technical problem solving efforts.

We value potential over tenure, and looking for a candidate with strong fundamentals, sound judgement, and a clear capacity and drive to grow. The role is designed for someone who wants accelerated growth through direct exposure to real engineering challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Support hands-on advanced manufacturing activities, including operating and assisting with metal-based systems
  • Contribute to structured testing, data collection, and analysis efforts
  • Learn and utilize manufacturing software, machine interfaces, and internal technical tools
  • Assist in organizing and documenting technical findings across multiple programs
  • Interface with internal engineers and remote collaborators
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and occasional customers to support project execution
  • Contribute ideas, ask questions, and help solve practical engineering challenges

What We’re Looking For

 

Required

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, Materials Science, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience or internships in additive manufacturing, materials, or advanced manufacturing environments
  • Willingness to work hands-on in a lab or machine environment
  • High level of curiosity and self-motivation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Growth

  • $80k-$120k annual salary (commensurate with experience)
