Role Description The Engineer Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at Kerish Motor Mall in Ramallah. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on a variety of vehicles, following manufacturer standards and dealership procedures. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, conducting routine services, and ensuring all work is documented accurately in service records. The Engineer Technician collaborates with service advisors and other team members to communicate findings, recommend repair solutions, and support timely and safe vehicle delivery to customers. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines, and participating in ongoing technical training provided by the dealership or its affiliated Automotive Academy.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, including mechanical and basic electrical systems (HANDS ON)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic reports, with solid problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail in completing inspections, documenting service work, and following quality and safety standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership staff.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an automotive workshop or dealership environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Ramallah and manage full-time working hours in a fast-paced service environment.
