The position
For an advanced medical imaging programme, we are looking for AI Productisation Engineers to support the industrialisation of computer vision and deep learning algorithms used in clinical cardiology workflows.
The algorithms have been developed in a research environment and now need to be brought to production‑grade level, with a strong focus on accuracy, latency, reliability, availability, and long‑term extensibility.
You will work at the intersection of AI research, software engineering, and hardware acceleration, contributing directly to solutions used in medical imaging systems.
The role
- Productise AI algorithms (including guidewire tracking and workflow detection) originally developed in a research context
- Improve model accuracy, inference latency, robustness, and reliability for clinical use
- Optimise AI pipelines for GPU‑accelerated hardware environments
- Design software architectures that support scalability and future feature development
- Collaborate closely with AI researchers, software engineers, and system architects
- Ensure solutions meet high standards for availability and maintainability in a medical context
Technical Environment
- AI / ML frameworks: ONNX, TensorFlow, TensorRT
- Model optimisation & deployment: ClearML, ONNX runtime
- Hardware acceleration: CUDA, GPU‑based systems (hardware nodes already available)
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Software Engineering.
- Strong experience in bringing AI models from research to production
- Hands‑on experience with GPU optimisation and deployment
- Solid understanding of performance constraints (latency, reliability, scalability)
- Comfortable working in cross‑functional, R&D‑driven environments
- Experience in medical imaging or regulated environments is a plus
