Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Researcher will design, develop, and evaluate machine learning and pattern recognition models that power Plurall AI’s cybersecurity and anti-fraud capabilities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting applied and theoretical research, building prototypes, running experiments, and analyzing performance metrics to improve the GaussMass AI platform. The role involves collaborating with data engineers, product teams, and cybersecurity specialists to translate business challenges into robust AI solutions, as well as documenting findings and presenting results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is a full-time hybrid role based in New York, NY, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Expertise in Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning, with experience designing and optimizing models for real-world applications.
- Background in Data Science and Research, including experimental design, model evaluation, and critical analysis of results.
- Proficiency in Statistics for modeling, hypothesis testing, and quantitative analysis of large, complex datasets.
- Experience with Python or similar languages, and common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, fraud detection, or deepfake detection domains is highly beneficial.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and collaborate in cross-functional, diverse teams.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
