About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Semiconductor Engineer to join our innovative team at EQ Semi. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing semiconductor components that meet our company's high standards for quality and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including research and development, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure the successful deployment of our products. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or higher is preferred. Extensive experience in semiconductor device design, simulation, and testing is essential. Proficiency with industry-standard CAD and simulation tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics is required. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, device physics, and circuit design principles. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment are critical. Prior experience working in a fast-paced, innovative setting will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
Design and develop semiconductor devices and integrated circuits in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Conduct simulations and modeling to optimize device performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into workable prototypes and production-ready products.
Perform testing, characterization, and failure analysis on semiconductor components to ensure quality and compliance.
Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, test results, and technical specifications.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in semiconductor technology to continuously improve design methodologies and product offerings.
Support manufacturing and quality assurance teams during production ramp-up and troubleshooting activities.
Participate in design reviews, technical discussions, and project planning sessions to contribute insights and expertise.
