Monroe Consulting Indonesia is currently recruiting on behalf of a multinational technology company for an experienced Application Engineer to join its Indonesia team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in industrial machine vision, application engineering, and technical customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical application support for industrial machine vision solutions across various customer industries.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate vision-based solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) testing, and application feasibility studies.
- Support system integration, implementation, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and regional technical teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and training to customers and channel partners.
- Support post-sales technical activities and resolve application-related issues.
- Travel within Indonesia to support customers and project activities as required
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Proven experience in Application Engineering, Technical Support, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machine vision, vision inspection systems, or related vision technologies.
- Experience working with machine vision products and real-world manufacturing or automation applications.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, sensors, cameras, or factory automation is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically within Indonesia.
- Professional working proficiency in English is required.
