We’re looking for an Aerospace Application Engineer to help leading aerospace manufacturers unlock the potential of metal additive manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of advanced manufacturing, partnering with customers to develop innovative solutions for structural components, engine parts, flight hardware, and next-generation aerospace applications.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll work closely with aerospace customers, helping them identify opportunities where additive manufacturing can deliver real engineering and commercial value.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working directly with customers to understand technical challenges and define additive manufacturing solutions.
- Supporting the commercial team by developing technical proposals and application recommendations.
- Visiting customer sites to assess manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Developing concepts, CAD models, and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) solutions.
- Collaborating with engineering, production, and commercial teams to deliver prototypes, quotations, and production-ready solutions.
- Demonstrating software tools and validating applications with customers.
- Building expertise in aerospace qualification, certification, and production adoption of metal additive manufacturing.
- Delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training for customers and internal teams.
- Representing the business at aerospace conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Creating and maintaining technical application guides, best practices, and case studies to support future customer projects.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an engineer who enjoys solving real-world manufacturing problems while building strong relationships with customers.
You’ll ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience within aerospace or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and certification requirements such as AS9100, FAA, EASA, material traceability, or similar quality systems.
- Experience using CAD software such as Siemens NX or equivalent.
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and product development.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a range of stakeholders.
- A proactive, consultative approach and the confidence to work independently.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
Desirable Experience
- Metal additive manufacturing (3D printing) experience.
- Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM).
- Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) or Direct Energy Deposition (DED) technologies.
- Experience introducing new manufacturing technologies into production environments.

Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
