Position: AGAT Laboratories AQM Field Technician
Support environmental testing with AGAT Laboratories as an Air Quality Monitoring Field Technician. In this role, you’ll engage in crucial activities such as calibration, data logging, and client interactions in a dynamic work environment.
As a key team member at AGAT, you will calibrate equipment, decommission air quality stations, and handle passive sample exchanges. Your strong attention to detail, self-direction, and communication skills will be essential as you navigate both field and shop tasks. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is necessary due to travel responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete and document equipment calibrations accurately
• Manage commissioning and decommissioning of AQM stations
• Exchange passive AQM samples effectively in the field
• Address instrument troubleshooting and perform necessary repairs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of AQM instruments and work spaces
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in environmental science or instrumentation
• Clean Class 5 driver’s license is mandatory
• Capability to lift 50 pounds and willingness to travel
• Experience with continuous monitoring analyzers is a plus
• Availability for on-call duties after hours
