AfrikCap is building the future of credit access across Africa, starting in Uganda. As a smart credit aggregator, we connect borrowers with the right lending partners — using data to match demand with capital and power embedded financial services across the markets we serve. We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to help us build and scale.
The Role
You'll own product features end-to-end: gathering requirements, working with engineering and design, and shipping products that serve borrowers, lending partners, and banks across our markets. This is a high-ownership role at an early-stage fintech where your work directly shapes the product.
What you'll do
- Drive product features from discovery through launch, balancing user needs with business goals
- Translate borrower and partner insights into clear product requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver on the roadmap
- Use data to prioritize, measure, and iterate on what we ship
- Partner closely with our on-ground teams in Uganda to ground products in real-world behavior
What we're looking for
- 2–3 years of product management experience, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to make decisions
- Excellent communication and the ability to work across functions
- Self-starter who thrives with ownership and ambiguity in an early-stage setting
- Fintech, lending, or emerging-markets experience is a plus
Logistics
- Fully remote
- Willingness to travel to Uganda as and when needed
- Compensation: ₹7 LPA fixed + ₹3 LPA variable
