Job Summary:
Determine, verify, and produce detailed drawings required for the manufacturing of products, ensuring designs meet structural integrity and production requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD(required)
- Understanding of aluminum and plastic materials
- Knowledge of structural and functional design principles
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment such as CNC routers and press brakes
- Degree preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing enclosures from aluminum extrusion
Job Responsibilities:
- Create production-ready drawings by interpreting design concepts
- Maintain engineering designs aligned with value-engineered production processes
- Evaluate designs for structural integrity and functionality
- Research and integrate new materials and technologies into designs
- Coordinate and lead prototype efforts for new product development
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.50 – $32.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
