The Role
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and integration of complex robotic manufacturing cells and automated systems.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize high-performance Robot Programming and PLC-controlled processes (including Siemens or Rockwell platforms).
- Identify automation bottlenecks and drive technical solutions to modernize production lines through data-driven insight.
- Manage capital equipment projects from initial cost-benefit analysis through to shop-floor implementation.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing methodologies to ensure new automated systems maximize efficiency and output quality.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or Robotics Engineer within a high-volume or complex manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on expertise in Robot Programming (Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka) and PLC systems configuration.
- Strong background in automated welding systems or precision assembly automation.
- Experience leading CapEx projects and executing technical installations from the ground up.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between high-level engineering strategy and shop-floor execution.
