Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability, stability, and optimal performance of industrial automation systems throughout the end‑to‑end production process, from raw material handling to packaging and palletizing lines.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve plant automation and control system architecture, including integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related production IT systems.
- Develop, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC‑based control systems (e.g., Allen‑Bradley/Rockwell Automation) to maximize equipment uptime, throughput, and overall production efficiency.
- Analyze automation system performance, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce downtime and process variability.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and IT teams to deliver automation solutions that meet operational, safety, and quality requirements.
- Support automation projects such as system upgrades, new equipment installation, FAT/SAT testing, commissioning, and coordination with system integrators and external vendors.
- Maintain accurate control system documentation, backups, and version control while supporting change management, basic industrial cybersecurity practices, and compliance with food safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical / Control Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in automation or control engineering within manufacturing, FMCG, food, or process industry environments.
- Hands-on experience or strong practical knowledge of PLC systems (preferably Allen‑Bradley platforms such as ControlLogix or CompactLogix).
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA), and basic Industrial IoT concepts.
- Exposure to MES systems or system integration projects is an advantage.
