Type: Hybrid work but mainly remote
Location: Craiova, Romania
Travel: 20% local and international travel could be required – Typically 1-2 weeks but only 2/3 times per year
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple technical projects targeting continuous improvement results with focus on safety, quality, efficiency, delivery, and cost.
- Follow the direction of the project manager or other designated site PM.
- Review the project scope, proposals, job specifications and resolve differences.
- Present your constructive feedback to the person giving direction in a respective manner to achieve the best solution possible.
- Test and validate systems (individually or as a member of a team).
- Work independently and with a team of CIM Engineers to assist in software development aspects of larger projects. Provide daily status notes on launch and during projects.
- Participate in training when made available. Make suggestions for improvements where possible. Comply with and support the work safe attitude following the health and safety procedures and environmental programs, policies, procedures, and standards imposed by the company, as well as customers site requirements.
- Individuals must be able to physically be present in OEM facility to perform tasks on factory floor carrying a backpack 20 pounds with Laptop during the working shift.
Experience:
- Manufacturing environment with Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics with at least 2 years field experience
