Your Responsibilities
- You’ll design automated systems based on client specifications and develop clear, functional analyses.
- You’ll develop PLC, HMI and SCADA programs using a range of industrial technologies.
- In this role, you’ll conduct performance tests using 3D emulation tools, ensuring compliance and system reliability.
- You’ll program PLCs, SCADA systems, cameras and other automation components.
- You’ll lead on‑site commissioning activities and train operators on newly deployed systems.
- You’ll serve as a technical resource during warranty periods, troubleshooting issues and restoring system performance.
- You’ll analyze equipment malfunctions, recommend corrective actions and maintain customer satisfaction.
- You may provide coaching to other automation specialists as project needs evolve.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial automation, supported by a university degree or college diploma.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Customer‑focused approach and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to travel internationally for extended periods and hold a valid passport.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and automation technologies including Profibus, Profinet, PLC modules and Siemens systems (Simatic Manager, S7‑300, TIA Portal, S7‑1500).
- Experience with SCADA platforms such as WinCC or InTouch, and familiarity with Allen‑Bradley products.
