Job Description / Responsibility
- Ensure proper maintenance and smooth operation of all company vehicles and transport equipment.
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults and arrange timely repairs.
- Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.
- Maintain records of vehicle inspections, repairs, servicing, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate with vendors, workshops, and spare parts suppliers for maintenance support.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Investigate breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support procurement activities by evaluating vehicle specifications and technical requirements.
- Train drivers and transport staff on proper vehicle operation and maintenance practices.
- Ensure availability of spare parts and maintain inventory control.
- Prepare maintenance reports, budgets, and performance analysis for management.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and operating costs.
- Follow company policies, health & safety regulations, and ISO compliance requirements.
