We’re growing—and looking for a talented Fixture Designer to join our progressive engineering team.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Engineering, you’ll bring your experience in fixture, tooling, and gauge design to a dynamic, collaborative environment. You’ll be responsible for developing new designs and modifying existing products to meet client specifications, all while maintaining Gauge-Rite’s commitment to quality and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design complete fixtures from concept to finished product with minimal supervision
- Create full 3D surfacing and detailed designs for checking fixtures
- Produce precise and comprehensive 3D models and technical drawings
- Apply a strong understanding of GD&T principles
- Ensure all designs comply with customer requirements and GRI standards
- Meet project deadlines and deliverables within scope and budget
- Collaborate with a team of designers and engineers
- Participate in team meetings and design reviews
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in fixture/tooling/gauge design (Minimum 3 years of previous automotive fixture design experience required)
- Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
