Latitude 33 Planning and Engineering is an established land planning and civil engineering firm. From conceptual site planning to complex airport infrastructure, we provide comprehensive civil engineering services for the most sophisticated projects in Southern California. While our portfolio spans biotechnology, healthcare, and high-density mixed-use, we are currently expanding our Aviation division. We are seeking a Project Engineer who doesn't just "design plans," but takes ownership of the technical challenges inherent in modern airside and landside environments.
Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a ABET accredited University, as well as a minimum of 4-7 years of land development experience, including experience managing project schedules and budgets, some supervision of civil designers, with interaction with clients and agencies. Civil Engineering Professional Registration is not preferred but not required. FAA AC knowledge is preferred but not required.
Ideal candidate’s project and technical experience should include mass, rough, and precise grading design, roadway design, utility infrastructure design, physical planning of site and utility layouts, processing and production of public improvement plans and development plans; earthwork and drainage calculations and reports; and mapping. Knowledge of airside apron design is preferred but not required. Knowledge of construction staging is preferred but not required.
