Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Azure infrastructure administration.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AD Connect, identity synchronization, firewalls, WAFs, virtual networks, and network security groups.
- Experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience designing and deploying Azure Container Applications (ACA) and/or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Hands-on experience with containerized microservices architecture, including overall security of microservices.
- Secure communication, secrets management, and identity integration.
- Experience using Terraform (IaC) for deploying and managing Azure infrastructure and container platforms.
- Experience configuring and managing Azure Container Apps monitoring, logging, and diagnostics using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Experience deploying and integrating related Azure components such as Azure Service Bus, storage accounts, and other PaaS services to support microservices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Experience with Azure Policy for governance and compliance enforcement.
- Managing Azure Key Vaults for secure secrets, keys, and certificates.
- Familiarity with Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
- Microsoft Intune administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing Azure VPN solutions, including Site-to-Site and Point-to-Site VPN configurations.
- Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell and Azure Automation for day-to-day operational tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with IT teams, DevOps, and end users.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with Identity Protection and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Intermediate to advanced PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Awareness of Azure security and compliance best practices (Zero Trust, least privilege, secure workloads).
- Azure Engineer Associate certification or higher.
