Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented BOM Management & Quality Gates Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Creo, Windchill, BOM management, and engineering documentation within turbomachinery or heavy engineering environments.
The candidate will be responsible for managing Creo assemblies, BOM updates, Windchill workflows, and quality gate activities while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform BOM creation, modification, and maintenance in Windchill.
- Handle Creo assembly updates and engineering documentation activities.
- Create sales-order-specific parts, assemblies, and drawings in Creo and Windchill.
- Manage ECT workflows and support engineering change activities.
- Perform Quality Gate checks based on IPV checkpoints and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for technical clarifications and document validations.
- Review and interpret engineering schematics, P&ID drawings, and BOM structures.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality compliance, and documentation standards within PLM systems.
- Support turbomachinery engineering activities related to compressors, generators, and mechanical drive systems.
Profile Requirements
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Creo and Windchill.
- Strong understanding of BOM structures and engineering documentation.
- Ability to read and understand P&ID and schematic diagrams.
- Good communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Industrial Turbine Machinery.
- Knowledge of compressors, generators, and mechanical drive systems.
- Exposure to engineering change management processes.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
