The BOP Site Manager oversees the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of Balance of Plant construction and commissioning activities. This role ensures that all site operations are conducted safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management

  • Manage day-to-day BOP construction activities on site.
  • Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure works.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and delays.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.

Site Supervision

  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Verify work is performed according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) requirements.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Promote and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with project managers, engineering teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate interfaces between BOP works and main plant equipment installation.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to management and clients.

Commissioning Support

  • Support testing and commissioning activities.
  • Resolve construction-related issues during startup phases.
  • Ensure completion of punch-list items and project closeout documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in industrial, energy, utility, power plant, solar, wind, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing large multidisciplinary construction teams.
  • Knowledge of construction management principles and industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and quality systems.
