Position Overview
The Business Automation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing business processes, designing automation workflows, integrating business systems, and delivering end-to-end automation solutions for internal operations and client projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise with n8n, GoHighLevel, Zapier, Monday.com, CRM systems, APIs, and workflow automation platforms. This role requires both technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to translate business requirements into efficient automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Automation
- Analyze existing business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Design, build, test, and deploy workflow automations using modern automation platforms.
- Develop scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Continuously monitor, optimize, and maintain automation workflows.
Workflow Design & Integration
- Build complex workflows using n8n, Zapier, GoHighLevel, Monday.com, and similar platforms.
- Integrate CRMs, marketing tools, project management systems, communication platforms, and third-party applications.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, databases, and custom integrations to connect multiple business systems.
- Create automation architectures that are secure, scalable, and reliable.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Gather business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Translate operational challenges into automation solutions.
- Present automation strategies, implementation plans, and technical recommendations.
- Provide consultation on workflow optimization and automation best practices.
Technical Leadership
- Lead multiple automation projects simultaneously.
- Guide junior team members and provide technical mentorship.
- Review automation implementations to ensure quality and scalability.
- Troubleshoot complex workflow and integration issues.
Documentation & Quality Assurance
- Maintain clear documentation for workflows, integrations, and system architecture.
- Conduct testing and validation before deployment.
- Ensure automation solutions comply with security and operational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in business automation, workflow automation, or process optimization.
- Strong expertise in n8n and workflow orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel automation and CRM workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Zapier, Monday.com, and similar automation platforms.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, REST integrations, and data mapping.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, project management tools, and marketing automation platforms.
- Understanding of databases, data structures, and automation logic.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex workflows.
Professional Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong ownership mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience working directly with clients across different industries is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of SaaS ecosystems and business operations.
- Exposure to custom scripting (JavaScript, Python, or similar) for advanced automation scenarios.
