What To Expect
Our EMEA Indirect Procurement team selects and acquires goods and services that support Sales, Service, Construction, Manufacturing, Supercharging, Energy, and Retail Development operations across EMEA. By leveraging in-house procurement tools, we drive efficiencies and strategic sourcing to enhance cost-effectiveness. In this role, you’ll collaborate with centralized Supercharger teams, as well as with local stakeholders across the region.
As Aa Buyer, you will focus on supporting the procurement of goods, services and works that are necessary to build Tesla’s charging infrastructure. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to support a greener, more efficient transportation strategy across EMEA.
What You'll Do
Analyse pricing and develop cost breakdowns ensuring the most cost-effective options are achieved.
Analyse historical and forecasted spends to target and prioritise the biggest opportunities.
Monitor market trends and conditions, reviewing supply and demand challenges and opportunities.
Synthesize supplier, industry and market research for assigned commodities to develop sourcing strategies.
Develop strong stakeholder support and cooperation on assigned commodities.
Adhere to inhouse policies for sourcing requests, buyer planning and sourcing & contracting approvals by using inhouse developed procurement tools such as Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), ERP system and RFQ tool.
Own and issue RFx’s from identifying potential suppliers and economies of scale to contracting.
Review, analyse, negotiate and clarify supplier quotations.
Lead contract negotiations and the vendor selection process.
Maintain and develop supplier negotiations.s EMEA, to source and contract goods, services and works that contribute to the transformation of our company.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or a related field or equivalent experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
2-4 years of experience in supply chain/procurement/purchasing roles, ideally with exposure to construction, engineering or manufacturing.
Experience in a business field related to a high level of interactions with third parties’ contractors and vendors.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects in various phases simultaneously with various stakeholders.
Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong analytical and judgment skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and drive process improvement.
Proven ability of supplier and stakeholder relationship management.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written ability in English language, and ideally another European language
