This pivotal full-time role focuses on harmonizing maintenance strategies and operational procedures as the primary liaison between Calgary Transit and design-build teams. You will ensure that the Light Rail Transit system is maintainable, resilient, and compliant with relevant regulations. Your experience in large-scale rail projects will be instrumental in developing asset management databases and readiness protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee integration of operations and maintenance requirements
• Act as liaison between multiple engineering and construction teams
• Create operational manuals and emergency procedures
• Support lifecycle component tracking and asset management
• Facilitate training initiatives and operational readiness assessments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years of relevant rail or transit experience
• Proven understanding of LRT maintenance practices
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
• Background in multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
