Civil Engineer/Construction Engineer (PE) Jobs in Houston, TX at ING Garza
ING Garza, PLLC started in 2018 and is growing. We are looking for individuals that are self-motivated, take on responsibility and able to multi-task.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
· Manage Pre-construction, execution, and closeout of projects
· Conduct progress meeting
· Field inspections to evaluate the work performed, verifying quality of workmanship, quality of materials used, and compliance with engineering plans, specifications, estimates and applicable codes and regulations
· Documenting deficiencies and deviations from plans and communicating deficiencies with contractor personnel, owner and help provide solutions
· Assisting with construction administration and documentation duties
· Reviewing and responding submittals, rfi’s, clarifications, proposals and change orders
· Provide independent estimates
· Review of construction schedules
· Produce and calculate contractor pay estimates based on work performed for the work period
· Observe testing and review test results for conformance with technical specifications
· Assisting with verification of project completion milestones and contract closeout
Minimum Requirements
· BA/BS in Engineering or Construction Management
Preferred Qualifications
· Civil Engineering Degree
· Professional Engineer with 1+years of experience
CCM (Certified Construction Manager)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
