Job Description
- Perform structural and civil engineering design for a range of projects (including buildings, bridges and marine structures) ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Analyse and model structures using current engineering software (such as SPACEGAS, MicronSTRAN, STRAND 7, E-TABS or S-FRAME).
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and detailed design documents.
- Undertake structural detailing and coordinate with drafting CAD as required.
- Supervise and monitor progress in construction works to ensure plans, specifications and safety standards are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of four to six years of postgraduate experience in civil, structural, bridge or marine design projects (applications considered from graduates with relevant project experience).
- Experience in the use of Structural analysis and design software is essential.
- Willingness to travel and work on assignments throug out Fiji and South pacific region as required.
