Role Description The Claude Specialist in Product Development will use Anthropic’s Claude and related AI tools to support the full product lifecycle for Rainbow Loom® products. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. Day-to-day, this role will conduct market and trend analysis using Claude, generate and refine new product concepts, and assist with specifications, packaging ideas, and play-pattern documentation. The specialist will collaborate with product management, design, and R&D teams to transform insights into clear product requirements and creative briefs. Responsibilities include drafting internal documentation, testing and iterating prompts and workflows, analyzing customer feedback, and supporting go-to-market plans to ensure products align with brand values, safety standards, and user needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong Market Research and Analytical Skills to identify trends, customer needs, and product opportunities using both traditional methods and Claude-assisted analysis.
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) and Product Management to translate insights into clear product concepts, requirements, and roadmaps.
  • Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and creating clear, concise documentation and product narratives.
  • Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI tools, especially Claude, for ideation, research synthesis, workflow optimization, and content generation.
  • Demonstrated creativity and interest in toys, DIY crafts, or children’s products, with the ability to think from a child and caregiver perspective.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Detroit Metropolitan Area, managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Engineering, Business, Marketing, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with prototyping, user testing, or consumer insights in a product-focused organization is a plus.
