ZEPHYRx is seeking a Clinical Trials Project Manager, who will be responsible for directing and managing services for client research projects and trials to ensure high quality, on-time, and on-budget services. The Clinical Trials Project Manager will be responsible for the preparation, initiation, monitoring and closure of participating sites in clinical studies according to ZEPHYRx policies and procedures, study protocols, GCP and HIPAA regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Directs day-to-day clinical project management operations and keeps management informed of trends and changes.
- Develops strong product knowledge and business expertise of ZEPHYRx products.
- Demonstrates skill and creativity in problem solving; utilizes inductive and deductive reasoning.
- Develops a strong understanding of Spirometry and other respiratory endpoints
- Reviews study protocols and requirements and collaborates with key stakeholders to determine how the ZEPHYRx solution will be used with clinical trials
- Communicates project information to all study sites, CRO partners, and study sponsors in a timely manner
- Develops study specific guides, training materials, and documentation related to all aspects of clinical research studies
- Oversees ordering and logistics of supplies necessary for study completion, and arranges shipment to participating sites.
- Instructs research staff in training and procedural aspects of the ZEPHYRx platform.
- Supports, logs, categorizes, prioritizes, and tracks incidents reported by Customers (email and phone).
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) to effectively interpret instructions, convey and present information and interact with a wide variety of people in a helpful, effective and informative manner using tact and diplomacy.
- Strong problem-solving skills – demonstrates skill and creativity; utilizes inductive and deductive reasoning.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail – follows detailed instructions and meets all requirements for projects; tracks deadlines and project milestones.
- Ability to professionally handle stressful situations.
- Advanced knowledge and expertise in the use of MS Office suite or Google office suite
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, sciences, engineering, or healthcare related field; two or more years of clinical trials research experience or equivalent.
Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000
Time Commitment: Full-time
Remote or On-Site: This position can be remote, or on-site at ZEPHYRx headquarters in Troy, NY.
Report To: VP of Research and Clinical Trials
Travel: As needed; around 5%
Physical Demands: While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is required to speak and hear. Vision abilities required by this position include close vision. The employee is often required to sit and to use their hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is also required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and lift objects of up to 10 pounds weight.
