Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Pontypridd for a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Engineer. In this position, the CAD Engineer will create, analyze, and refine physical and digital designs for high-performance racing vehicles. Responsibilities include using CAD software to produce detailed engineering drawings, optimizing designs for functionality and performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. The role also entails contributing to mechanical engineering solutions and utilizing advanced EDA tools to enhance design methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Physical Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
- Understanding of automotive or motorsport engineering is an advantage
