Constructors Hawaii Inc. is seeking an experienced project engineer to join our team. We have been one of Hawaii’s top general contractors for over 50 years because of our reputation for workmanship, attention to detail, and bringing the best teams together.
Responsibilities:
1. Overall management of multiple construction projects including submittals, RFIs, subcontracts, purchase orders, billings, change orders, and documentation from award to turnover.
2. Run OAC meetings.
3. Review and maintain CPM schedules using Microsoft Projects.
4. Facilitate communication between the field and the architects and owners.
5. Manage project budgets.
6. Estimate and prepare bid packages.
Qualifications:
a. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural, or construction management.
b. 5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
c. Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Projects.
d. Experience in construction estimating
e. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
f. Proactive with problem solving and safety issues.
g. Hawaii resident with valid driver’s license.
