Role Description The Continuous Improvement Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cluj-Napoca. This role focuses on analyzing existing manufacturing and operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the scoping and implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects in the business, working in collaboration with line managers and team leader’s appropriate business area, such that the tools become the “way we do things” in their work areas.
- Work with line managers and team leaders on benefits identification and delivery through the use of the tools, ensuring end-to-end thinking and the management of interdependencies
- Working within the central business improvement team to, create and implement a change management plan to deploy the Lean Six Sigma approach, deliver process improvements and build a more change ready workforce
- Ensure appropriate and timely training of colleagues within Teconnex and to assess their competence to utilize the Lean Six Sigma and techniques.
- Coach our line managers and team leaders on Lean Six Sigma tools and change leadership in order to develop a sustainable capability, provide support and advice on lean processing during deployment.
- Provide development and coaching to colleagues within Teconnex in areas of particular expertise and to role model continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or related fields;
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for data collection, interpretation, and problem-solving
- Solid understanding of manufacturing functions within the automotive supplier market segment
- General understanding of the various group functions in a manufacturing operation
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues and to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies; certifications are an advantage
- Fluency in English is required
