Role Description The Corporate Finance Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting for InSight Security Group. This role involves building and maintaining financial models, conducting variance and trend analysis, and preparing clear summaries that inform strategic and operational decisions. The specialist will collaborate with leadership to assess the financial implications of service offerings and engagements, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with cash flow and profitability analysis. Additional tasks include ensuring accurate financial records, partnering with accounting on reconciliations, and contributing to process improvements that enhance financial visibility and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to interpret financial statements and support accurate reporting.
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Financial Analysis to evaluate scenarios, engagements, and long-term planning.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to assess trends, variances, and risk-related financial implications.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in a professional services or consulting environment is beneficial.
- Comfort working remotely, with strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Familiarity with financial software, spreadsheets, and collaboration tools used in remote work settings.
