Overview:
As a Data Scientist focused on revenue management, you'll design and deploy advanced deep learning models to forecast demand and support branch-level decision-making. Your work will directly impact revenue by turning historical trends and predictive analytics into actionable insights. You'll collaborate across teams to build and operationalize analytical solutions that drive measurable business results.
What You'll Do:
- Extract, clean, and manipulate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights
- Develop predictive models to support data-driven decision-making
- Design and oversee experiments, ensuring accurate execution and interpretation
- Apply causal inference techniques using observational data
- Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly
- Create and present reports for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and operationalize solutions
Required:
- Currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (now or in the future)
- Must reside in St. Louis, MO or immediate surrounding area
- Master's degree in a statistical or mathematical field (Engineering, Social Science, Statistics, or related)
- 2+ years of experience with predictive modeling, statistical inference, and deep learning
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Proficiency in R or Python
- Experience presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred:
- Doctorate in a statistical or mathematical field
- Experience designing experiments
- Data visualization skills
- Linux/Unix experience
- SQL proficiency
- Experience working with multi-source/multi-format data
- Experience with causal inference methods (matching, weighting, etc.)
