We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our software engineering function, drive enterprise technology strategy, and deliver scalable business solutions that support organizational growth.
About the Role
As Engineering Director, you will oversee the design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions, lead high-performing engineering teams, and act as a key partner to business stakeholders in translating requirements into robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise business software solutions across the organization
- Oversee development and integration solutions built on MS Dynamics 365 F&O ERP and related platforms
- Drive the design and implementation of Web APIs and system integrations connecting core business applications
- Manage and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Align engineering initiatives with broader organizational goals and business strategy
- Own end-to-end project management for major engineering initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
- Lead business analysis efforts to gather, evaluate, and transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring quality delivery and cost-effective partnerships
- Oversee solutions involving Laserfiche DMS, MS SQL Server RDBMS, and MS Visual Studio .NET
- Define and enforce solution architecture standards, best practices, and governance across engineering projects
- Report on engineering performance, risks, and delivery progress to senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master's/MBA a plus)
- Proven experience in developing and delivering business enterprise software solutions
- Strong background in business solution architecture and integration solution development
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics 365 F&O ERP, Web APIs, MS SQL Server, and MS Visual Studio .NET
- Experience with Laserfiche DMS or similar document management systems
- Demonstrated team leadership experience, managing engineering or development teams
- Strong track record in project management, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent skills in business analysis and translating business requirements into technical deliverables
- Proven ability to drive organizational goals through technology strategy and execution
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, TOGAF, or relevant architecture/project management certifications
- Experience leading digital transformation or ERP implementation projects
- Background working with mid-to-large scale enterprise organizations
