Director of Engineering – Job Description
- Oversee and manage all Engineering and Maintenance operations of the resort.
- Lead and develop the Engineering team to ensure high performance and service excellence.
- Ensure all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained in excellent condition.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor engineering budgets, energy consumption, and operational costs.
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth daily resort operations.
- Manage and coordinate renovation, refurbishment, and engineering projects.
- Drive energy-saving and sustainability initiatives across the resort.
- Ensure a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment for guests and associates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in an Engineering management role, preferably in a hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and safety standards.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Good command of English.
