JOB SUMMARY: Implement research and development polices, objectives, and initiative. Oversee the development of new products and utilizes best practice engineering methods and provide expert technical guidance for engineering initiative.
A. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
a. Develop engineering organizational strategies by contributing engineering information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction.
b. Accomplishes engineering projects by planning, assembling, and managing resources.
c. Provides technical information by analyzing operational problems, collecting, analyzing, and summarizing technical data.
d. Mentor and guide the technical development of engineers on the team to continuously improve engineering practices.
B. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
I. Educational Background: Graduate of any engineering courses or related field.
II. Experience: With a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in electronics research and development.
III. Must be currently in Cebu.
C. Knowledge, Skills and Attitude:
a. Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement activities through strong team building and problem solving.
b. Ability to effectively organize and prioritize day-to-day activities and issues within functional area.
c. Ability to delegate effectively and follow through on assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
d. Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure.
e. Demonstrated strong leadership skills, ability to motivate teams, and demonstrated ability to resolve complex member related issues.
f. Deep understanding of technology developed through real-world experience in a variety of settings.
g. Strong ability to communicate concepts and ideas to engineers and non-engineers alike. copied, reproduced, or used as the basis for sale or manufacture of apparatus without written permission.
