We are partnering with a global manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Director of Operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for leading Manufacturing and Packaging operations, driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and execution of production strategies while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.
The ideal candidate is a proven operations leader with a strong background in manufacturing environments, process optimization, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for Manufacturing and Packaging operations.
- Develop and implement operational standards that ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cGMP requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support long-term business strategy and operational objectives.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Continuous Improvement teams.
- Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Identify operational challenges and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of leadership experience managing manufacturing or production operations.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
- Experience leading continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Demonstrated success managing budgets, production planning, and capacity optimization.
- Strong project management and change management capabilities.
- Experience developing high-performing teams and leading through influence.
- Solid knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic problem-solving skills.
