Role Overview:
Our client, a prominent business conglomerate, is seeking an experienced Divisional Parts Manager – Machinery Division who will be responsible for growing parts market share (parts exploration %) for represented OEMs, while ensuring high parts availability, disciplined inventory governance, and sustainable profitability.
The role owns the Parts divisional P&L and defines the parts growth, availability, procurement, and inventory management model required to support service uptime and aftermarket value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
Parts Market Share & Availability
- Grow parts exploration % across the installed base
- Ensure high availability to customers and internal Service operations
- Balance availability targets with working-capital discipline
Parts P&L & Inventory Governance
- Full accountability for Parts divisional P&L
- Control inventory investment, ageing, and provisioning risk
- Lead structured inventory reviews and mitigation initiatives
Procurement & Systems Governance
- Own parts procurement logic and ERP configuration standards
- Govern purchasing rules and demand-led ordering discipline
- Provide functional leadership to Inventory Control & Planning
Financial & AR Discipline
- Ensure parts sales support strong billing and AR compliance
- Prevent revenue leakage and margin distortion
Compliance, ISO & Audit
- Functional owner for Parts compliance under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
- Own closure of Parts-related audit findings
Skills, Competencies & Attributes
- Strong parts and supply-chain expertise
- Deep understanding of inventory economics and OEM aftermarket models
- Highly disciplined and detail-oriented
- Strong financial and systems literacy
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 10 years’ experience in parts leadership within machinery or capital equipment industries
- Proven Parts P&L and inventory governance accountability
- Strong ERP , procurement experience and financial systems competence essential
- Supply chain, engineering, or business degree required
- Demonstrated success in Increasing parts exploration % ,supporting service uptime and reducing ageing and obsolete stock.
- Experience in ISO-certified and highly audited environment
