Position: Electrical Designer for Energy Systems

WSP’s Energy & Process team seeks a skilled Electrical and Controls Designer. With at least five years of hands-on experience, you will transform P&IDs into detailed electrical drawings, generate construction packages, and ensure seamless project integration. You will also provide critical field support and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review P&IDs and create accurate electrical drawings
• Generate complete electrical drawing packages for approvals
• Evaluate RFQs and electrical contract documents
• Provide technical guidance to contractors in the field
• Coordinate closely with various engineering teams
Requirements:
• Technical diploma in electrical engineering technology
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design
• Exposure to heavy industrial projects, preferably in energy
• Proficient in AutoCAD, with 3D CADD experience being a plus
• Detail-oriented and solutions-driven mindset
