Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management
Location: Saudi Arabia
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in Facilities Management, Operations & Maintenance, and site-based electrical systems to support ongoing facility operations and maintenance activities.
This role is suitable for candidates with a strong electrical engineering foundation who are looking to grow within a large-scale FM environment and gain practical exposure to electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, reporting, and coordination with technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily electrical operations and maintenance activities across the facility.
- Supervise and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot common electrical faults related to LV switchgear, control panels, VFDs, AFD controllers, UPS, ATS, generators, and power distribution systems.
- Assist in installing and modifying electrical equipment, panels, breakers, lighting accessories, and related components.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors when required.
- Support electrical safety practices and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Prepare basic maintenance reports, progress updates, inspection findings, and technical observations.
- Monitor performance, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions to improve system reliability.
- Support spare parts planning and ensure availability of critical electrical materials and consumables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within Facilities Management, Operations & Maintenance, construction, or site operations.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, LV panels, UPS, ATS, generators, and VFDs.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Ability to work on-site and support operational requirements.

Preferred Background
- Experience in FM, O&M, infrastructure, commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, industrial facilities, or large project environments.
- Familiarity with CAFM systems, work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and site reporting is a plus.
