€275 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a 6-month contract supporting a major client in the renewable energy sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with the client’s technical team on grid connection solutions for renewable energy projects, including solar PV and wind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate HV/MV grid connection solutions
- Support technical feasibility studies and connection strategy development
- Interface with TERNA, e-distribuzione, and other DSOs/TSOs
- Coordinate engineering consultants and EPC/BOP contractors
- Support tendering, technical specifications, and bid evaluations
- Ensure compliance with Grid Code, CEI, and TICA requirements
- Support commissioning, energisation, and handover to O&M
Required Experience:
- Strong HV/MV electrical engineering background
- Experience with substations, transmission, and distribution networks
- Renewable energy experience (onshore PV and/or wind)
- Knowledge of Italian grid connection processes
- Experience managing engineering and contractor interfaces
- Understanding of SCADA, protection, and control systems
