Summary:
The primary responsibility of this Electrical Engineer role is to design, develop, test, and support the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems used in commercial, industrial, military, or scientific applications. The role requires the ability to create engineering drawings and accurately read and interpret blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical equipment including machinery controls, wiring systems, and lighting components
- Evaluate design models for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety
- Estimate project timelines and associated costs
- Simulate and test machine, structure, and system operations
- Research, investigate, and evaluate vendor and competitor products
- Support manufacturing, construction, and installation standards development
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Creative thinking with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Ability to create sketches and engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and calculations
- Ability to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation specifications
- Experience using engineering-related computer applications and design software
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 5-7 years of relevant experience required
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.00- $41.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
