Overview
An expanding engineering firm is seeking skilled engineers to join its Substation Protection and Control (P&C) Design team. They currently have under 50 people and are hiring multiple positions to contribute to their growing list of projects.

Project Engineer – Substations
Location: Fully Remote
Base pay range
$/yr – $/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and upgrade protection and control schemes, including the creation of one-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, and detailed wiring diagrams.
- Execute critical relay upgrade projects to modernize and enhance power system reliability.
- Perform comprehensive quality control and assurance reviews on all engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and fostering strong professional relationships.
- Manage project workflows and contribute to broader multi-disciplinary engineering initiatives, ensuring all technical objectives are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4-8 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems or substation design.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required; a PE license is preferred.
