The intern will support innovation projects within the Electrical and Electronic Systems department, contributing to the development and validation of advanced technologies for Ferrari vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support innovation project activities, including planning, tracking and documentation
  • Assist in technology scouting and analysing emerging automotive trends
  • Support collaboration with suppliers and internal teams on technical topics
  • Contribute to concept definition and basic E/E system and ECU development activities
  • Assist in prototype bring‑up, testing and validation
  • Support preparation of technical reports and presentations for project updates

This internship offers hands‑on experience in innovative E/E technologies within a multidisciplinary and high‑performance environment.

Required profile

For this fundamental role, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or a final‑year student in Electronics, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.

You should have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, and have already gained initial work experience through internships or projects (in automotive or luxury sectors) that allow you to understand business complexities and develop your personal and communicative skills.

You must exhibit analytical thinking, be target‑oriented and structured, demonstrate strong communication skills (including the ability to listen and reason in depth), and be able to work independently as well as contribute to a team. Attention to detail and an awareness of responsibility are required. You should be motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture, and relish a challenge.

The

effective completion of your daily tasks requires:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical & Electronic systems and automotive architectures
  • Familiarity with automotive communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Familiarity with CANalyzer and CANoe tools
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems and software development lifecycle (preferred)
  • Awareness of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity concepts (a plus)
  • Familiarity with CATIA software (is a plus)
