Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial and industrial electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, project scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of electrical projects, including planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with estimators and engineers.
  • Coordinate and supervise field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, electrical codes, and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, tools, and equipment needed for each phase.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure alignment with project plans.
  • Review and approve change orders, invoices, and project documentation.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and project partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) managing commercial and/or industrial electrical projects.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred (or equivalent knowledge).
  • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and local regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and construction documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
