Position: Electrical Safety Engineer Opportunity
Join QAI in Toronto as an Electrical Safety Engineer and contribute to product safety evaluations. This role focuses on testing various electrical products according to industry standards.
As a Project Specialist I at QAI, you will evaluate and test products within the Electrical Product Safety Department. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting field evaluations, preparing concise reports, and reviewing certification documents for compliance with safety standards. You will collaborate closely with both clients and team members to ensure product safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate electrical products against standards (CSA, UL, IEC)
• Perform internal and external audits
• Assist in field evaluations and inspections
• Manage documentation for project certifications
• Support sales efforts and engage with clients
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• 3 years’ experience in product testing and evaluation
• Superior skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with inspections and hazardous locations
• Must be able to travel internationally
