As the primary contact for contractors, you will report to the Industrial Construction Director and oversee all work coordination and communication with the Client Representative. You’ll be responsible for evaluating contractor execution, ensuring safety practices, and validating contractual agreements. Your ability to handle technical challenges will be crucial for maintaining project timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess contractors’ progress and adherence to plans
• Coordinate technical aspects and change requests with engineers
• Review construction drawings before implementation
• Organize necessary site visits for project stakeholders
• Collaborate with safety and environmental teams when needed
Requirements:
• Technical training in mechanical engineering (DEC) or equivalent
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical management
• Proven communication and interpersonal abilities
• Competence in managing contractor relationships
• Familiarity with heavy industrial construction equipment
