We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team at ST Engineering Aerospace Engines Pte. Ltd. This role, aligned with the TR-Continuous Improvement Level 3 designation, offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an individual passionate about driving operational excellence through automation and process enhancements.

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across our aerospace manufacturing and engineering processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain to streamline workflows and incorporate automation technologies that support our commitment to safety, reliability, and industry-leading standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing current processes and recommending improvements that reduce waste and optimise resource utilisation
  • Work collaboratively with various departments to identify areas to add value and help achieve business goals.
  • Employ data-driven approaches, including Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies, to monitor and measure improvement impacts.
  • Coach and support team members and stakeholders in continuous improvement principles to foster a culture of innovation and sustained performance improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to management and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards while implementing new processes and technologies.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and best practices and industry trends relevant to aerospace engineering.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in driving transformative LEAN or Six Sigma projects.
  • Proven passion and experience in continuous improvement roles within manufacturing or aerospace sectors, particularly involving automation projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma (Green Belt Qualification Preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and management levels.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards applicable to aerospace MRO environments.
