Job Title: Engineering Coordinator

Location: Dubai, UAE
Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to join our Facilities Management & Projects team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a career in engineering coordination, facilities management, and project execution within one of the region's leading restaurant groups.
Working closely with the Engineering & Projects team, you will play a key role in maintaining engineering documentation, coordinating day-to-day maintenance activities, supporting ongoing projects, and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple restaurant outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize engineering documentation, drawings, reports, and technical records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly engineering reports, trackers, and dashboards.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, AMC activities, and vendor follow-ups.
- Track maintenance complaints, work orders, and ensure timely closure of assigned tasks.
- Support the engineering team with project documentation, snagging records, and progress reports.
- Conduct site visits to monitor maintenance activities and project progress.
- Coordinate with technicians, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Maintain spare parts inventories, asset registers, maintenance logs, and engineering databases.
- Assist with quotation comparisons, purchase requests, and engineering-related administrative activities.
- Support the team with presentations, documentation, and process improvements as required.
What We Need from You:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in facilities management, maintenance, or project coordination will have an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent documentation, organisational, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities with attention to detail.
- Willingness to visit sites and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered an added advantage.
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
