PT. Kartika Inti Sejati is one of Indonesia's leading premium bakery and snack manufacturers. We are looking for an experienced Supervisor Engineering & Maintenance to join our Engineering & Utility team in Bandung.
About the role
The Supervisor Engineering & Maintenance is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the mechanical and electrical maintenance team, ensuring production equipment reliability, and driving a preventive maintenance culture across the plant.
Key responsibilities:
– Lead and supervise a team of mechanical and electrical technicians in daily maintenance of production machinery and utility facilities (oven, mixer, boiler, chiller, packaging lines, etc.)
– Plan, schedule, and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to minimize unplanned downtime
– Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions on production equipment breakdowns
– Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment failures and implement improvement actions
– Manage maintenance records and work orders through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
– Control spare part availability (Minimum Stock Level) in coordination with Warehouse and Purchasing teams
– Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE/K3L) standards across all Engineering & Utility areas
– Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, and other departments to support production and quality targets
– Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Continuous Improvement programs
– Develop and coach team members to improve technical competencies
Qualifications:
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Supervisor in Engineering or Maintenance within a manufacturing environment
– Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechatronics
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills on production machinery
– Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, PLC, automation, instrumentation, and control systems
– Hands-on experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Experience in the food and beverage or bakery industry is an advantage
– Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
