Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to fill a opening with a manufacturing company located in Metro Detroit. The ideal candidates should have a background in engineering, ideally in exteriors and accessories within automotive.
Requirements of the Engineering Manager
- BSME or similar degree
- Technical expert in exterior components and related systems
- 10+ years of design & release experience
- Experience with DVP&R, DFMEA, GD&T, DFM, DFA, etc.
- Understanding of product and vehicle development cycles and processes
Responsibilities of the Engineering Manager
- Leads development and integration of all exterior systems and sub-systems
- develop and execute design and integration plans, timelines and deliverables
- Work with internal teams such as quality, manufacturing and design
- Responsible for system – level validation and verification activities
